Unity Technical Artist / UI Developer (Mobile Games) | Remote
We’re looking for a specialist who can bring mobile games to life. Your focus will be UI, animations, transitions, and overall visual-feel, everything that makes a mobile game smooth, responsive, and emotionally engaging. You’ll work closely with programmers, 2D artists, and game designers, shaping both the technical and creative sides of the product.

About the Role:
This role blends engineering awareness with artistic intuition. You will build UI from scratch, animate interfaces, integrate art assets, optimize visuals, and help direct the overall look and feel of the game. You’ll be the bridge between design and development, ensuring that the final experience is polished, well-structured, and cohesive.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create and configure UI for mobile platforms (Canvas, HUD, menus, pop-ups, transitions)
• Animate interfaces and game objects using Unity Animator, Animation Clips, DoTween, and Feel
• Work with prefabs, components, scene hierarchy, and clean project structure
• Import, slice, format, and optimize 2D art assets for Unity
• Collaborate with programmers to connect UI logic and implement gameplay scenarios
• Work with game designers to enhance UX through animations, effects, and visual polish
• Integrate new technologies to improve visuals, responsiveness, and transitions
• Manage assets efficiently: atlases, formats, optimization for mobile
• Add haptic feedback using existing libraries
• Assist artists in creating technically optimal assets for the project
Key Qualifications:
• Experience working with Unity on 2D mobile projects
• Strong command of Unity UI (Canvas, RectTransform, Layout Groups)
• Skills in creating animations (Animator, Animation Clips)
• Practical experience with DoTween and Feel
• Ability to work cleanly with prefabs and components
• Basic Git knowledge
• Basic understanding of C# and ability to edit scripts when needed
• Ability to optimize art and UI for mobile devices
• Experience in at least one art discipline: 2D, 3D, or animation
• Strong communication: able to “translate” requirements between artists and developers
• Understanding of technical aspects of mobile art pipelines in Unity
Nice to Have:
• Experience with physics-driven animations
• Shader creation (basic level)
• Adaptive UI layout for multiple resolutions
• Basic editing skills in Photoshop or Figma
• Ability to curate and integrate sound assets
