Backend and Infrastructure Engineer

⚙️ Key Responsibilities:

– Design, develop, and implement high-quality, scalable web applications across the server-side stack (back-end and infrastructure).

– Design and implement IaC solutions to automate infrastructure provisioning and management.

– Monitor and optimize cloud performance and cost.

– Implement and maintain security best practices.

– Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code.

– Participate in code reviews and share knowledge with teammates.

⚙️ Your experience and skills:

– Strong understanding of back-end development principles and languages (e.g., Python, Node.js, Java, Clojure).

– Experience with relational and graph databases (e.g, PostgreSQL, Datomic, Neo4j).

– Expertise in building infrastructure with IaC tools such as Terraform/Pulumi.

– Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

– Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

– Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming and experience building REST or GraphQL APIs with automated unit testing.

– A good working knowledge of PostgreSQL, Noe4j

– Familiarity with Pubsub and version control systems such as git, Gitlab, and JIRA.

– Working experience with microservices, shared dedicated services, cloud computing, and related technologies.

– Interest in Cybersecurity is essential – although experience in the field is not needed.
